Wargroove, the retro-inspired tactical title from Stardew Valley publisher Chucklefish, is preparing for global battle. In addition to stating that the launch will be “very soon”, the team announced that Wargroove will also support 10 different languages from day one.

Partnering up with UK-based translation company Shloc (who previously worked on titles like Yokai Watch, Ni No Kuni, and The Last Guardian), Chucklefish has announced that Wargroove will now be launching with 10 different language options. Players will be able to experience the game from day one in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

After shifting the game’s initial “late 2018” release date to a Q1 2019 window, Chucklefish has also provided fans with another update on Wargroove’s launch. According to a statement made on their official Wargroove twitter account, the game’s upcoming release is now set to happen “VERY soon”. Additionally, the team stated that further details would be provided “even SOONER”.

Wargroove is a turn-based strategy game inspired by retro/handheld titles like Advance Wars. The game features over 12 different commanders, 4 warring factions, local and online co-op, multiplayer skirmish modes, hidden collectables, plus in-game map and campaign editors. Officially set to launch in Q1 2019, Wargroove will be hitting PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One “very soon”.
