Everyone's favourite purple dragon also comes to Crash Team Racing!

It’s long been rumoured that the Spyro Reignited Trilogy would be making its way to Switch and now those rumours have finally been confirmed. The remastered collection of games arrives on Nintendo’s hybrid console on September 3rd 2019. PC players can also pick the Trilogy up through Steam on the same day.

The announcement was made during E3 2019’s Direct and marks Spyro’s first appearance on a Nintendo Console since Skylanders Imaginators on Wii U. Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a faithful remake of the classic PlayStation games, bundling Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon into a single package that will sell for a suggested retail price of $39.99.

Development of the Switch version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy is being handled in-house at Toys For Bob who also dealt with porting the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Switch players can of course enjoy Spyro in the palm of their hands or beamed onto their TV screen as full support for docked and handheld configurations is here.
