Rising Star Games have announced that they’ll be bringing the nutty puzzle adventure game Red’s Kingdom to Nintendo Switch. Set to release on August 16th, Red’s Kingdom will be available digitally for $9.99 / £8.99 / €9.99.

Red’s Kingdom was developed by award-winning Scottish studio Cobra Mobile and released on Steam in January 2017. It’s a single player puzzle/adventure game with an isometric view-port and comic art style. The game features a giant interconnected world that players must guide Red (the little squirrel character) through in order to save his father and golden nut, both of which have been kidnapped.

Movement in the Red’s Kingdom is limited to walking/rolling in the chosen direction, stopping only when the player hits a walk or other obstacle. There’s no walking forward two steps and then turning left. The Nintendo Switch port will support touch-screen controls while in portable mode, enabling the player to swipe the screen to move in that direction.

Red’s Kingdom is packed with secrets, hidden treasures, environmental puzzles, and collectable nuts. Player’s can gain special powers that enable Red to explore even further into the world and even take on evil goons.
