The Nintendo Switch collector’s edition of The Adventure Pals is now available to pre-order from Super Rare Games. Priced at $34.99 / £29.99 / €33.99, the physical limited print is set to release on Jan 17th 2019.
If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on a copy of Massive Monster’s quirky action-platformer, then look no further. Super Rare Games has brought 4,000 copies of the giraffe-packed indie Switch title into the physical realm.
In addition to a limited print of the game on those oh-so bitter Nintendo Switch cards, The Adventure Pals Collector’s Edition also packs a full-colour “Adventure Guide” manual, exclusive SRG sticker, a pack of themed trading cards, and a nice splash of artwork on the cover sleeve interior.
First released for Switch as a digital-only title in April 2018, The Adventure Pals follows the story of a young boy, his pet rock, and a handy backpack giraffe as they set out on an adventure to save their father-turned-hotdog. The game features optional drop-in co-op, a levelling system which provides additional abilities, collectable cupcakes, RPG-like locations, secret stickers, unlockable costumes, and a whole stack of goofy characters.
Pre-orders for the physical Nintendo Switch edition of Adventure Pals opened on 10th January 2018 and will be limited to just 4,000 copies. Shipments are scheduled to dispatch on the 17th January 2019.
