Truly gripping stuff

Heave Ho is a wacky physics-based adventure game that challenges players to cross “an impossibly wide ravine”. Supporting up to 4 players and absolutely zero legs, the perilous depths that lurk below are now only a sweaty palm away.  In an effort to avoid a deathly fall, players must harness the power of their dangly limbs and the grip of other players to swing to safety.

Eight flailing arms can become a bit confusing when you’re crawling across your buddy bridge, so Heave Ho has treated players to a whole heap of character customisation options. In addition to various colour and facial variations, every character in Heave Ho can also don a nifty costume, equip some glasses, get a hair-do, and even alter their voice (although I’m not particularly sure how that last one will help).

Originally conceived during Paris’ “Urban Jam” festival, the intial prototype for Heave Ho was built by Le Cartel within a 48 hour period. After a year and a half of additional development time, and a whole heap of love, Heave Ho is now nearly ready to swing into action.

Heave Ho is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and PC in Summer 2019. Fans heading to EGX Rezzed this year will also have an opportunity to try the game right on the show floor.
