Nintendo announces new Indie World Showcase for Tuesday 10th December

Seriously, though, where is CrossCode?
Nintendo Indie World Showcase December 2019

This time of the year is usually rife with gaming news and events, so it was only a matter of time until Nintendo threw their hat into the ring. Set to air tomorrow, on December 10th, Nintendo will be hosting a brand new Indie World Showcase. The upcoming presentation is said to be roughly 20 minutes long and feature upcoming indie titles heading to Switch.

Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase will air at the following times:

  • US – 10am PT / 1pm ET
  • UK – 6pm GMT
  • EU – 7pm CET

…and will be available to watch on both Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels.

Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase is a relatively new event hosted by Nintendo. The intention of each presentation is to spotlight indies on their own stage, rather than delegating a dozen titles to a tight sizzle reel (as seen in previous Nintendo Directs). The new format gives indie titles a chance to shine in their own right, showing off full-length trailers and allowing the audience to take in each title to its fullest. The last Indie World Showcase, which took place in August 2019, showed off a handful of eye-catching titles such as Eastward, Hotline Miami Collection, and the much anticipated Ori and the Blind Forest.

While we’re unsure of what tomorrow’s show will hold, although the LootPots team are eagerly awaiting more news on CrossCode, Hades, and Hollow Knight: Silksong (among many others).
