Hob is an action-adventure game where players explore and restore a ruined world to its former beauty. A task that is primarily achieved by solving puzzles using a mysterious mechanical glove. The glove has a few different abilities – it can interact with various objects in the world, defeat enemies and even transform the level around you.

The game boasts a “wordless narrative”, in which the story is told visually, without text or spoken word. An approach that encourages exploration and makes it vital to both understanding the surroundings and how to progress.

Hob: The Definitive Edition is an enhanced port of the 2017 game, which originally released on PC and PS4. The Nintendo Switch version contains improvements to the game’s camera controls and UI, alongside some other QoL improvements. In addition to minor game tweaks, Hob will also take full advantage of the Nintendo Switch’s unique hardware features, with touch-screen functionality and HD rumble implemented throughout.

Hob’s Nintendo Switch port has been handled by Panic Button, a studio well known for it’s impressive Switch ports, and is set to hit the eShop on April 4th 2019.
