THQ Nordic has announced that ‘Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Owltimate Edition’ will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The announcement comes as part of publisher HandyGames’ (a subsidiary of THQ Nordic) Gamescom 2018 line-up.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Owltimate Edition for Nintendo Switch will include the original base game, all previously released DLC, five additional (new) levels, and cut-scenes between each level.
Developed by Black Forest Games (also now a subsidiary of THQ Nordic), Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is a “Jump’n’Run” platformer that focuses on a dual-world mechanic. At the tap of a button, players can shift between two worlds (and character forms) to progress through Giana’s dream worlds and save her sister. While switching between worlds, players must utilize both Giana’s sweet and punk forms, which each come with their own specific abilities.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is a sequel to the 2009 Nintendo DS game “Giana Sisters DS”. The game was originally funded through Kickstarter under the title of “Project Giana”.
