Final Fantasy finally comes to the Switch!
Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD

Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD was announced for Nintendo Switch last week and during today’s Nintendo Direct it was revealed that game is available on the eShop now. The Nintendo Switch release joins the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game that were made available last week.

The Switch version is available on the Nintendo eShop now for an introductory 40% discount until September, 20th 2018, after which the game will retail for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29,99.

Pocket Edition is an abridged version of Final Fantasy XV, a game that saw its release to PS4 and Xbox One in 2016. Players still follow the same storyline as the original game but the open-world aspect has been removed, offering a more linear and focused experience with fewer side quests.

Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition was originally released on iOS and Android where players could play the first chapter for free and unlock subsequent chapters as an in-app purchase. Like the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, Pocket Edition HD on Switch is a remastered version that includes all ten chapters as a single purchase.

If you’re interested in playing Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD on the Switch then head over to the eShop now.
