Earthlock is officially getting a physical Nintendo Switch release courtesy of short-run publisher Super Rare Games. In addition to the standard Switch release (and as a Super Rare Games first), Earthlock fans will be also be able to get their hands on an extremely limited Collector’s Edition.
The standard edition of Earthlock is set to include a physical copy of the game, reversible cover, full-color manual, and the usual SRG trading cards and sticker. Super Rare Games has confirmed that only 5,000 copies of the standard edition will be produced for Nintendo Switch and will be available to pre-order exclusively from SuperRareGames.com on the 16th of May.
However, fans of Earthlock will probably want to opt for one of the 1,000 Collector’s Editions. This more expensive version comes packed with the physical game, a gorgeous 220-page artbook, copy of the game’s soundtrack, 2 Earthlock comics, 2 extra trading card packs and a collectors edition box to keep everything in. The standard edition will retail for $38.99 / £36.00 / €41.99, though no price has been announced for the Collector’s Edition as of yet.
Earthlock is an Adventure RPG by developer Snowcastle games. Explore the world of Umbra and battle foes in turn-based RPG combat. With 6 playable characters, players can put characters together and build their friendships to gain a strategic edge. The game originally launched on Nintendo Switch on the 18th of March 2018, but this is the first time the game has been available physically on a Nintendo platform.
