Izneo on Switch

Izneo, an online platform for reading digital comics, mangas, graphic novels and Webtoons, is making its way to Nintendo Switch and Smart TVs in October 2018.

Inzneo touts itself as the “Netflix of comics” and allows you to carry your comic collection wherever you go. Fans of digital comics may already be familiar with Izneo as the service is already available on PC, mobile and tablet devices.

The Switch release takes full advantage of the touchscreen, allowing readers to flick through pages on the go. Of course, like all Switch games and apps, Izneo can be used on the big screen too. In docked mode readers can use a Joy-Con or Pro Controller to navigate through comics.

Izneo boasts over 25,000 digital titles available to read online or download for offline viewing. This includes big names like Hellboy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who, Sherlock and Assassins Creed. Readers have the option of buying titles individually and for those in France, can access the entire library with a €9,99 a month subscription.

CEO of Izneo, Luc Bourcier had the following to say:

We are proud to bring the Izneo reader to Nintendo Switch and offer the best comic books reading experience to gamers. Nintendo’s console is the perfect platform for comic book reading. From gamer to reader the gap just got a little bit smaller!

Izneo launches on Nintendo Switch, Nvidia Shield, Phillips Smart TVs and all Android TVs in October.
