Plug In Digital and Behold Studio have announced that Chroma Squad, the Power Rangers inspired RPG, will be launching for Nintendo Switch on August 1st 2019. Priced at £13.49 / €14,99 / $14.99, the game will be available as a digital release on the Nintendo eShop.
Pitching itself as a tactical RPG in which players must produce their own Power Rangers-like TV show, Chroma Squad follows the story of five stunt actors who have decided to go it alone. In addition to fantasy-packed turn-based battles, players will also need to upgrade their studio, craft weapons, and string together giant mechs using only cardboard and duck-tape.
It’s not just the equipment and cast you’ll have to manage in Chroma Squad though, as fans across the world will also be eager to message you their thoughts and ideas. Choose your replies wisely, switch up the show’s ending scene, and save the world from evil monsters… while trying to stay in budget.
Chroma Squad will officially launch for Nintendo Switch on August 1st 2019 for the price of £13.49 / €14,99 / $14.99. Players who order the game before July 31st will also be treated to a free Nintendo Switch copy of arcade shooter “Transcripted”.
