Nintendo has announced that there will be a 45-minute livestream presentation on the newest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter, Terry Bogard from the Fatal Frame series.
This will be the third such livestream dedicated to a new fighter, following the same spotlight treatment given to the Hero (Dragon Quest) and Banjo & Kazooie, but will be nearly twice as long as either previous presentation. The stream will air tomorrow, November 6th, at 1 p.m. GMT, and can be viewed on the Nintendo UK YouTube channel.
Revealed in a Nintendo Direct in early September, Terry joins Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, and Joker (Persona 5) as the fourth character announced for the series’ Fighter’s Pass DLC Pack. During the same Nintendo Direct, series creator and game director Masahiro Sakurai announced that additional DLC fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would be developed even after the Fighter’s Pass DLC Pack was completed, as the series continues to add fan favorites and historic mascots to its already gargantuan roster. Despite this, the Nintendo Versus Twitter account has already confirmed that tomorrow’s livestream will not contain any announcements regarding unrevealed fighters.
Terry Bogard will be available for download as part of the game’s Version 6.0 update later this month.
