World of Goo, the award-winning puzzle game from Tomorrow Corporation, will soon be making its well-deserved debut to the shelves of Nintendo Switch collectors. Pre-orders for the short-run physical release will open February 20th on the Super Rare Games website.
With only 6,000 copies available (2,000 for the steelbook edition), supplies are very limited. Still, for those fans who have been loving the physics-based puzzles of World of Goo, this is the perfect way to top up their compilation of fantastic physical titles on Nintendo Switch.
Both editions include a complete Nintendo Switch cartridge containing the World of Goo, a reversible cover, a full-colour manual, an exclusive sticker, and a 3-card trading pack. Dedicated fans can also purchase one of 200 available limited supply trading card bundles, expected to retail for $9.79 / £9.00 / €10.84. Unfortunately, due to an issue with a supplier, the steelbook edition will not begin shipping until the end of March.
World of Goo is a level-based physics construction game releasing originally on Nintendo Wii in 2008 and on Nintendo Switch in 2017. In it, players take control of sticky Goo Balls that squirm to construct an amalgamation of structures. From towers to bridges to giant tongues, World of Goo lets the player manipulate the Goo Balls freely to build fantastic structures and complete each puzzle set out.
