This War of Mine: Complete Edition, the award winning survival game from Deep Silver, will be getting a physical release on Nintendo Switch.
First announced during Nintendo’s Indie Highlights video back in August, This War of Mine has already been confirmed as a November 2018 eShop title. However, now it appears that cart collectors will also be able to get a taste of the action.
Although an official release date for the physical version is still to be announced, we expect that it will most likely launch in 2018 (and may even hit shelves around the same time of the eShop title releases). Like the digital version, the physical copy will comes with past DLC and support Nintendo Switch Online cloud saves.
This War of Mine: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch includes:
- An extended version of the base game.
- This War of Mine: The Little Ones DLC
- This War of Mine: Stories – Father’s Promise DLC
- This War of Mine: Stories – Episode 2 & Episode 3 (available in future as a free update).
Developed by 11 bit studios, This War of Mine first released in 2014 for PC, OS X, and Linux, and has since received port to PS4, Xbox One, iOS and Android. The survival-based gameplay sees players take control a number of civilians, as they attempt to endure life in a war-torn city.
This War of Mine’s first DLC pack “The Little Ones” adds a new layer of complexity to the game, by including civilian children that the player must also protect. While the “Stories” trilogy DLC promises to add even more content for players to enjoy, now and in the future.
