Tales of Vesperia is a Japanese RPG set in the fictional world of Terca Lumireis, where civilisation relies heavily on an ancient technology known as blastia. It’s the tenth mainline release in the “Tales of” series and uses a variation of the franchises’ Linear Motion battle system. Players take control of a single character to battle with in real-time, while other party members carry out attacks based on AI commands.

The upcoming remastered version of the game will include two additional playable characters and a bunch of content (events, characters, and costumes) that were previously exclusive to the Japanese release. Bandai Namco has also stated that Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will feature an up-scaled screen resolution.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will launch on January 11th, 2019 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will be available both digitally and physically.
