Snack World: Trejarers Gold to release in West as “The Dungeon Crawl Gold”

Multiple ratings and localisation company make it glaringly obvious

Snack World: Trejarers Gold will be seeing a Western release on Nintendo Switch under the title “Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl Gold”, according to ratings. The latest information comes from the ESRB, which has rated the Level-5 game as “Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl Gold” and as suitable for teens.

Despite a Western version of Snack World: Trejarers Gold on Switch not having been officially announced by Level-5, it’s now become painstakingly obvious that the game is (at a minimum) bound for English speaking territories.

Just a few months ago, back in March 2019, localisation company 3Beep announced they were working on an English language version of The Snack World anime and a Snack World video game. However, there was no word regarding platforms, or whether it was the enhanced “Gold” version of the game undergoing localisation. Shortly afterwards, a rating for “Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl Gold” popped up on the Australian Classification website but simply listed it as “Multi Platform”.

Now, thanks to an additional rating by the ESRB (which clearly states Nintendo Switch as a release platform), it has become immediately apparent that Snack World: Trejarers Gold will be coming to Western Switchs as “Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl Gold”.

It’s only a matter of time until Level-5 puts out an official press release regarding the game’s localisation and release. So, those eager for word on a Western release date should definitely keep their ears to the ground.
