Siegecraft Commander catapults onto Nintendo Switch this September

Build a tower. Expand your base. Catapult cows.
Siegecraft Commander Nintendo Switch

Real-time action-strategy game Siegecraft Commander is heading to Nintendo Switch on September 19th 2018. Priced at £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99, the Switch version is confirmed to support online cross-platform multiplayer and is available to pre-purchase right now.

From developers Blowfish Studios, the aim of the game is to construct a series of offensive and defensive positions across a battlefield by catapulting structures. When they land, they’ll link back up to the structure that launched them, creating a network across the battlefield. Each structure has its own unique purpose, such as spawning particular units. Place the right battlements in the right places to create the ultimate war machine and force your enemies into submission. You can even catapult cows at your enemies, should the need arise.

Gameplay takes place in a pair of single-player campaigns, local split-screen, or online multiplayer. One campaign has you play as a band of defensively minded knights, while the other sees you control a group of offence focused Lizardmen. Each eight mission campaign will give you a taste of the benefits (and drawbacks) of offensive and defensive play, then it’ll be up to you to combine the two into your own playstyle to claim victory in multiplayer.
