The indie physics puzzle game, Donut County is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One next week on December 18th, 2018.

Donut County is a physics based puzzle game, seen by many as a sort of “inverse Katamari Damacy”. In the game you play as a hole in the ground, sucking up the items scattered throughout town. Things start off small as you steal the Donut Country residents’ belongings but as you pick up items the size of your hole increases. It won’t be long before you’re gobbling up the residents themselves and even entire buildings!

The concept for Donut County initially came from a game jam and Indie developer, Ben Esposito ran with the idea. He continued to develop Donut County in his spare time and fleshed out a concept into a fully-fledged game.

Earlier this year in August, Donut County made its debut on PC, Mac, PS4 and iOS. Well received by critics, Donut County was nominated for a number of awards including Best Mobile Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards 2018.

Next week, on December 18th, Donut County will be available to download from the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game will also be available on the same day for Xbox One owners.
