Physics-based party game Heave Ho out now for Nintendo Switch and PC

4-player party mayhem? Worth a fling.

Heave Ho Nintendo Switch and PC
The friend-swinging multiplayer party game, Heave Ho, is out now on Nintendo Switch and PC!

From developer Le Cartel and publisher Devolver Digital, Heave Ho tasks 1-4 players with swinging across cliffs, chasms, and floating platform to reach each level’s goal. Each player is only able to control their character’s arms and hands to throw each other around, which makes coordination and teamwork vital if you’re going to finish this physics-based multiplayer romp without any arguments.

Gripping stuff.

At the game’s initial reveal, we reported that customisation would play a key part in keeping track of the mayhem on screen. Since then, multiple new costumes based on Devolver Digital titles have been revealed. Characters based on Enter the Gungeon, The Messenger, Katana Zero, Gato Roboto, My Friend Pedro, and a few other indie classics will be available to unlock as you play.

The launch trailer below focuses on a key element to the game – playing with friends – as teams of four try their hand at working together to reach their goal. If that still doesn’t sway you, lucky visitors to PAX East this weekend (August 30th to September 1st) will be able to try the game out on a 20-foot 4k screen. At £8.99 / $9.99, the game is perfectly priced for a night of fun with friends. Heave Ho is available on the Nintendo Switch eShop and Steam now.
