Well nobody saw this one coming! Nintendo has just announced that their Nindies Showcase (Summer 2018) will be live streamed on August 28th, 2018 at 09:00 PT / 17:00 BST / 18:00 CEST.
It was only earlier this week (ahead of Gamescom) that Nintendo released their Indie Highlights presentation. Now it seems that the Nintendo has even more indie titles that they want to show off. The Switch really does love indie games.
Nindies Showcases follow Nintendo’s standard Direct format but focus solely on games created by independent developers. The last Nindies Showcase aired in March and gave us a look at games such as Bad North, Lumines Remastered and The Messenger.
According to Nintendo, the upcoming Summer showcase will play host to “multiple unannounced indie games”. So you’re looking forward to what else is in store for the Switch, be sure to tune in at live.nintendo.com next Tuesday.
