Mografi has announced that their hand-crafted detective game Jenny LeClue will be heading to Nintendo Switch. The news, which came earlier today, was made during the KF Games Showcase.

Jenny LeClue is an exploration based adventure game that follows the story of a young detective of the same name. Set in the fictitious town of Arthurton, where nothing much happens, Jenny picks up the case of her life when she discovers her mother has been accused of murder. The game promises a “rich metanarrative”, as players are guided by the in-game author Arthur K Finklestein.

Officially described as “thrilling mystery adventure filled with detectiving and choosiness”, Jenny LeClue promises a stunning hand-drawn art style, an expansive world full of diverse characters, and choices that will be tallied up to permanently influence future episodes.

Dialogue scenes will also come with a twist, as the game allows players to move the camera around and check their surroundings for potential clues. Something which might help reveal the intentions of the characters in question.

Jenny LeClue was originally funded via a successful Kickstarter campaign back in August 2015. The crowdfunding venture raised over $105,000, reaching 162% of its goal and attracting nearly 4,000 backers. Although the game is listed on Steam as releasing “~2018”, no official window has been provided for the Nintendo Switch version as of yet.
