Monster Hunter Generation Ultimate Nintendo Switch Demo

A free demo of Monster Hunter Generations will be available for Nintendo Switch owners to try out on August 16th 2018. The announcement was initially made by Capcom through the official Monster Hunter twitter account.

If you’re still unsure about picking up the Nintendo Switch port of Monster Hunter Ultimate Generations, then you’re in luck. The free demo that launches tomorrow (August 16th) will allow players to try out all six different hunting styles and get a taste for the game’s full release. Although details were fairly sparse, it wouldn’t be too surprising if the upcoming demo was based on the Japanese demo version seen in August 2017.

Monster Hunter Generation Ultimate is an action RPG in which players hunt down various monsters as either a solo hunter, or by working together with other players. The game was originally released as a Japan-exclusive Nintendo 3DS game in 2017 and (in Japan) received a HD port to Nintendo Switch the same year.

Monster Hunter Generation Ultimate will be getting its full release for Nintendo Switch on  August 28th 2018. The game will be available both digitally and physically, with a suggested retail price of $59.99 / £49.99 / €59,99.
