This August update was announced during San Diego Comic-Con 2019 back in July alongside details of the first DLC pack from the Expansion Pass (which is due to launch on September 30th 2019). The Marvel Knights pack includes Morbius, Blade, Punisher and Moon Knight as playable characters, with a new story scenario to try them out in.
Nintendo has promised to support the game with even more free costumes all the way into 2020. Further Expansion Pass packs featuring heroes and stories from the X-Men and Fantastic Four are also still yet to come.
