Nintendo Switch users may be treated to some new board games this October, as Ubisoft is said to bringing a multi-game compilation titled “Hasbro Game Night” to Nintendo’s hybrid device.

According to our sources, the upcoming Nintendo Switch release is set to launch around October 23rd 2018 and will target a €59,99 recommended retail price. The Hasbro collection will also include popular board games such as RISK, Trivial Pursuit, and Monopoly (which saw a separate Switch release in 2017).

Based on the included games, Hasbro Game Night for Nintendo Switch sounds as though it may be an adaptation of Ubisoft / Hasbro’s “Family Fun Pack” which release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in 2015. These previous releases also allowed players to challenge others through online multiplayer, which given the imminent launch of Switch Online, may explain the timing of the potential Nintendo Switch ports.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Ubisoft bringing these board games to the Nintendo Switch though. A few months ago, back in June 2018, the Taiwanese video games rating board published listing for both Risk and Trivial Pursuit on the Nintendo Switch. Rated separately, both of these titles were submitted by Ubisoft Limited.

Although everything seems to be lining up perfectly, until an official announcement is made we won’t know for sure. Hopefully, we’ll hear more in the coming weeks.
