Marvelous has announced that Dead Or School will be releasing on Nintendo Switch digitally in North America on March 13th, with both physical and digital options available in Europe. Dead Or School is a single-player adventure taking place in a 2.5D anime environment. With high-paced action around every corner, this game aims to raise your adrenaline to the max.

Dead Or School follows Hisako, who is forced to retreat underground from a zombie apocalypse. With little understanding of the above-ground, Hisako returns to the surface to learn of her grandmother’s childhood. After being given her grandmother’s old high school uniform, Hisako travels across Tokyo to reclaim the world of the above-ground from the undead and allow the children of the underground to go to school again.

Throughout her adventure, Hisako will face gigantic monsters (including a monster with a body made of steel). She even finds hidden items along the way that will help her unravel the truth of the zombie outbreak that plagues the city of Tokyo. With a strong determination, Hisako knows she must survive to one day be a normal high school girl like her grandmother once was.

Dead Or School  combines fast-paced hack ’n slash gameplay with RPG elements, offering action combat with both close and ranged combat options available. Hisako must collect items and disassemble parts in order to continue to upgrade / customize her loadout and defeat increasingly powerful zombie hordes. As her level increases, the player gains access to skills that will aid Hisako in bringing about the oncoming downfall of these uninvited undead.
