SomaSim’s 2D tower-building simulator, Project Highrise is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th, 2018 in Europe for £29.99 / €39,99.
North American gamers will need to wait just a little longer for the game, with a release scheduled across the pond on November 13th for $99. Pre-orders are now open on the Nintendo eShop and a physical release of the game is also planned.
Project Highrise is seen by many as the spiritual successor to SimTower and tasks the player with taking on the roles of architect, owner and developer of a new highrise building. You’ll need to put your design skills to the test by laying out wiring, placing walls and coordinating the construction of each office and apartment in your new skyscraper.
Once built, keeping tenants happy is key to your success. You’ll need to invest in the future of your building to create a prestigious address where everyone desires to live or work. Upset your tenants and they’ll take their business somewhere else and your reputation will go up in smoke.
The game is being released on consoles as Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition and includes all previously released DLC including Las Vegas, Miami Malls, Tokyo Towers, London Life and the new Brilliant Berlin pack.
Alongside a campaign filled with 29 challenging scenarios, Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition also features an open sandbox mode where your creativity can run wild. Build exclusive offices for world leaders, luxury apartments for the elite or a glamorous hotel complete with a famous concert hall – the choice is yours.
