Limited Run Games and Inti Creates, the studio behind Blaster Master Zero, are teaming up for a physical release of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation Vita. Collectors will be able to preorder their physical copy directly from Limited Run starting on March 15th, 2019, at 10 am EST.
Alongside the standard physical release, Limited Run Games will be offering a Collectors Edition for true fans of the series. Complete with a physical copy of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, the Collectors Edition includes an NES-style cartridge sleeve for the game’s case, a retro-style box, reversible poster with original artwork from Tom duBois, and the game’s original soundtrack.
The mastermind behind many Castlevania entries, Koji Igarashi, brings his expertise and knowledge of the side-scrolling adventure genre in Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. This retro-style action game brings players back to the early days of action side scrollers, equipping you with weapons like swords and whips to traverse old school style horror environments. Choose from four playable characters – Miriam, Alfred, Zangetsu, and Gebel all with their own unique weapon expertise and styles.
Curse of the Moon was a Kickstarter milestone for those who backed the game’s more modern-styled successor, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Although originally launching on May 24th, 2018, fans of this title and newcomers alike are able to preorder their physical copy of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon soon.
Collectors will have two windows of opportunity on March 15th to place their order from Limited Run Games. Once at 10 am EST and again at 6 pm EST. If you want to get your hands on a copy, be sure to act fast and secure your copy, because stocks may not last long!
