Grab ahold of your proton pack, as Ghostbusters: The Video Game returns in HD on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year!

The release of Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered coincides with and celebrates the 35th anniversary of the movie that started it all. Featuring a unique story from original writers Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, this ghostly adventure was relatively well received on its release in 2009 scoring 78% on Metacritic.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game has you joining the crew as a rookie buster. Alongside familiar faces (and voices) of Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, you’ll need to restore peace and order in Manhattan, which has once again become overrun by ghosts, demons and paranormal creatures. Find the source of this evil send it back to the dimension it escaped from before the Big Apple is destroyed.

In order to take down the ghouls who dare challenge you, a bunch of gadgets and weapons are at your disposal. Be sure to upgrade them as you progress through the game as you’ll need all the help you can get during the huge boss battles Ghostbusters: The Video Game throws your way.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC (via the Epic Games Store) later in 2019.
